Dr. Erin Lichtenstein, MD

Dr. Erin Lichtenstein is a board-certified ophthalmologist providing expert surgical and clinical care to patients throughout the region. She earned her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Virginia, bringing 15 years of clinical experience to every patient she sees. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease, and takes the time to explain findings clearly so every visit feels unhurried and comfortable.

A past president of the Maine Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons and a 2020 graduate of the American Academy of Ophthalmology's Leadership Development Program, Dr. Erin Lichtenstein is committed to advancing eye care both in her practice and across the state.
